A Spring Afternoon on the Golf Course in Tahoe

We got out for a round of golf on a Saturday in mid-May back in 2014. It was a perfect spring afternoon for it, clear and sunny up in the Tahoe area.

The course was beautiful, surrounded by dense stands of tall pine trees on all sides. From some of the higher tee boxes, you could see the mountains in the distance under a big blue sky. The light was getting lower as we played, casting long shadows across the bright green fairways.

It was just the two of us out there, trading shots and working our way through the course. I got a few photos of our swings against the tree line.

We finished up on a green right next to a small pond with a rock waterfall. It was a quiet and scenic way to end the day as the sun started to dip behind the trees.
