Backyard Afternoon on the Climber
Nothing farther than the backyard today. The new lawn is finally looking like a lawn, and the little hedge starts along the block wall are hanging on. The azaleas by the fence are in full pink.
The kid spent most of the afternoon on the plastic climber — up the side, across the platform, down the red slide, repeat. A pile of those colorful chain links kept getting hauled up and left at the top of the slide, which made every trip down a bit of a gamble.
After that it was trike laps on the walkway, with dad steering from the push handle in his Holland jersey. Lots of waving. The trike still ends up abandoned somewhere in the middle of the path every time.
