Pike Place Market at Dusk in Early December

We arrived right as the light was fading in early December. The sky had turned a deep, flat blue, making all the city lights stand out. I watched traffic moving through the cobblestone streets in front of Pike Place Market, including a little blue and silver Smart car that passed by a couple of times.

The big 'Public Market Center' sign was glowing in bright pink neon, and the surrounding buildings were already decorated with Christmas lights and festive trees. It was busy, with plenty of people still milling around the entrance as it got darker and the colors of the signs became more vibrant.
