A Classic Tahoe Holiday: Fresh Snow and Family Time

We had one of those perfect winter days in Tahoe where everything is covered in a fresh layer of snow. I went for a quiet walk along the river, where the pines were heavy with powder and the sun was bright but didn't offer much warmth. The light was beautiful on the water.

After that, we headed up to the mountain for some skiing. The views of the valley were incredible under a mix of clouds and blue sky. It’s always fun getting some runs in with everyone, and we grabbed a few selfies at the top to remember the day.

We also took advantage of the nice light to get some family photos outside on a wooden bench surrounded by snow-dusted trees. Back at home, things were a bit more mellow. The kids spent time with our new puppy, who seemed to settle right in. Seeing them all on the couch next to the Christmas tree was a pretty great way to end a full day.
