A Day in Berkeley, from Rigetti to La Marcha
I spent a winter afternoon visiting the Rigetti offices. The space was filled with bright, low sun coming through the large industrial windows. I particularly liked their logo, which is filled with living moss, and a series of posters they had on display celebrating the history of computing with machines like the IBM Sage and the Cray-1.
As the afternoon faded, the sky lit up with a vibrant orange sunset. The view from the building looked out over the city and toward the water, a clear and cold end to the day.
For dinner, we ended up at La Marcha, a tapas bar nearby. Its sign was lit up against the dark brick exterior, a warm spot on a chilly night.
