Clear February Days Around the City
A few days at home in mid-February. The weather was unusually clear, so I spent some time walking around the city. It's always interesting to see how they're using public art downtown, like painting entire streets with these bright, flowing murals. The light was sharp against the tall buildings.
I ended up down by the waterfront, walking along the Embarcadero. The view of the Bay Bridge was perfectly clear, and the water was pretty calm. I passed the marina, packed with sailboats sitting still in the harbor. The reflections were starting to get good as the sun got lower.
Caught a nice sunset over the water by one of the smaller bridges, where a couple of people were out on paddleboards. Later that night, I walked by the Chase Center. The Warriors were playing, and you could watch the game on the huge screen outside the arena. The area has some pretty striking modern architecture that lights up at night.
