Track day at One Porsche Drive, which sits so close to Hartsfield-Jackson that planes climb out directly over the circuit — I watched one lift off through the windshield of a 718 Cayman GTS while waiting my turn in line.

This was the first Experience Center Porsche built in the U.S., open since 2015, with two tracks on the property. My session ran the handling circuit, which folds in three training areas along the way, including a low-friction circle where the instructor talked me through getting the back end loose and catching it. Under the solar canopy the fleet sat waiting — a row of new 911s in white, blue, red, and a pale green, plus a Panamera and Macans staged in front of the building.

Between sessions the lobby had a GT3 RS parked on the carpet next to a pink one, and downstairs a heritage gallery runs from a maroon 356 cabriolet through the early 911s to a Nürburgring 24-hour race car. The building doubles as Porsche Cars North America headquarters, and the offices were still lit when I looked back across at it after dark.
