Graduation Portraits at San Diego State
Graduation portraits today, back on the SDSU campus. We started in front of Hepner Hall, which is the building everyone shoots in front of for a reason — the bell tower, the arches, the whole thing. Black dress, denim jacket on and off the shoulders depending on the pose, and at some point the San Diego State pennant came out, which felt a little goofy to hold but I'm glad we did it.
Campus was calm enough that we could take our time. Walked up close to the Hepner Hall arch for a few more before moving on.
Changed into the white dress and finished at the cliffs just before sunset, leaning on a fence post above the water with the wind doing whatever it wanted with my hair. Four years down to one afternoon of standing still and smiling, more or less. My earrings kept catching in the jacket collar.
