A Night Out for New Year's Eve 2002

New Year's Eve, 2002. A group of us went out to celebrate, heading to some dimly lit restaurant or bar to mark the occasion. I remember the decor being dark and a little ornate, with patterned booths and heavy, textured golden curtains. The flash on the camera was working overtime, trying to capture everyone in the low light.

It was a classic New Year's night out. We got a booth, had some drinks, and spent most of the time taking photos in different combinations. There's a glowing 'Happy New Year' sign visible in the background of a few shots. Someone even had a big, feathered, jeweled crown that made its way into a couple of pictures.

Looking back at these photos, it was just a simple, fun night with friends. Everyone is smiling, posing, and just enjoying being together to ring in 2003. A lot of posed shots, a lot of embraces for the camera, just capturing the end of one year and the start of another.
