A Pre-Holiday Weekend at Disneyland in 2017
We took the kids for a weekend at Disneyland in early November of 2017. The first thing you see is always the train station on Main Street, which is where we started. The park was already fully transitioned into the holiday season, with massive Christmas trees and decorations everywhere you looked.
The kids immediately got into the spirit with Santa hats and Minnie ears. It felt a little early for Christmas, but when you're there, you just go with it. We all got a photo with Mickey, who was also ready for the holidays in a festive sweater and hat.
As the sun started to go down, we were over at California Adventure. The lights on the Ferris wheel and the roller coaster against the pink and blue sky were probably my favorite view of the trip. We managed to get one good photo of the whole family together in front of the main tree, all decked out in our various Disney and holiday-themed shirts.
The whole weekend was a blur of rides and walking, but seeing the kids so happy, like my daughter smiling in front of the castle, makes the chaos worth it.
