A Snowy Family Christmas Celebration in Truckee

We spent Christmas in Truckee this year, and it felt like a classic holiday scene. Snow was falling steadily outside the windows, covering the trees and the ground, while we were all gathered inside where it was warm. The evening started with everyone just relaxing in the living room, with the dog making the rounds and the Christmas tree lit up in the corner.

We stepped out onto the porch for a quick selfie in the cold. You could see the snow piling up and the holiday lights reflected on the windows. It was chilly, but worth it for the picture.

The real highlight of the night was an unexpected visit from Santa Claus. It was a great surprise and everyone got into the spirit. We spent the next hour or so taking turns posing for photos with him by the tree.

It was fun seeing everyone, from the younger women to the guys, get their picture. It turned into a really funny and memorable part of the evening. Just a simple, good holiday spent with family.
