A Slow Loop on the Vino

Took the Vino out for a loop around the neighborhood this afternoon — nothing far, just up the street past the mailboxes and back, a couple of times over. It still starts on the first try and hums along at whatever gentle speed it feels like giving.

Riding is getting to be a different proposition with the belly in the picture. Sitting upright works; leaning forward, less so. Mostly I just putter and let the scooter do what it wants.

Wore flip-flops, which is probably not the recommended footwear, but at neighborhood speeds it felt like a fair trade. Left the key in it in the driveway afterward and had to go back out for it.
