Spring Night Game at Oracle Park

The walk through the South of Market area led to 3rd and King, right to the gates of Oracle Park. We came down to the China Basin waterfront for a spring night game. The Giants have played at 24 Willie Mays Plaza since 2000, and the stands were packed all the way out to the outfield walls by the time we found our section.

Our seats sat far back under the concrete overhang, looking out toward the infield. A fan in the row ahead kept his heavy radio headphones on to follow the broadcast. Out on the mound, the pitcher checked the runner, went into his windup, and delivered to the plate.
