A Summer Swim Trip to Scottsdale

We spent a few days away in early June 2015. The first shot I have is of our daughter striking a pose indoors, just after we arrived and got settled in. The trip was built around swimming, and it didn't take long for the kids to get into their gear.

Before we even made it to the main event, there was a lot of time spent playing in the backyard. The sun was out, and a group of girls in swimsuits and caps spent a good while perfecting a human pyramid on the grass. There was a lot of laughter and collapsing before they finally got it stable.

The days were centered around the community pool, which was busy with what looked like a swim meet. You can see the scoreboard in the background of one shot. The kids were all kitted out in their team caps and goggles, ready to go. I managed to get a few photos of them with family in between the events, all smiles under the bright sun.
