A Family Wedding on the Beach, June 2015

We traveled in mid-June of 2015 for a family wedding. The trip itself was part of the fun, a quick bit of sightseeing with the kids before the main event got underway. The celebration spanned a few days, full of family and festivities, including a memorable fireworks display over the water one evening.

The wedding itself was held right on the coast on a perfect, sunny afternoon. The ceremony was set up on a deck overlooking the ocean, with rows of white chairs ready for guests. Our girls were flower girls, dressed in white with flower crowns in their hair. They took their roles very seriously, at least for the formal photos with the bride down by the water's edge.

After the ceremony, there was plenty of time for pictures on the sand and for the kids to just be kids, running through the tall beach grass near the venue. The day ended with an incredible sunset over the water, framed perfectly by the floral arch from the ceremony. It was a beautiful weekend celebrating people we love.
