A Tesla Supercharger Stop Outside a Best Western

October 2, 2020. We pulled into a charging station for a needed stop, this one located in the parking lot of a Best Western. The afternoon light was hazy and warm, casting a bit of a glow on everything. The lot was pretty empty aside from us and another car further down the row.

These stops become routine on a long drive. You plug in the car, and then you have a set amount of time to kill. This particular station was just a standard setup with the red and white chargers lined up against a white fence, the hotel sitting right behind them.

While the car charged, it was a good chance to stretch and reorganize. We had the front trunk packed with a couple of brightly-colored bags. It’s a surprisingly useful space for stashing things you need to access easily. After a quick shuffle, we were ready to get back on the road.
