A Saturday of Study and Sun at Home

A quiet Saturday at home. I've had this stack of technical books sitting on my desk for a while, covering everything from Python for Data Analysis to Linux administration. It felt like a good day to finally spend some time with them, trying to absorb some of the denser topics.

After a few hours inside, the clear sky was hard to ignore. From the patio, the view across the pool to the distant hills was completely unobstructed. A couple of blue floats drifted on the water, which was perfectly still. It was that kind of warm, late-summer day that feels very specific to Southern California.

The sun was bright and direct, and after a quick swim, the towels were drying almost instantly on the wooden rack. It was a simple day, really—just a quiet back-and-forth between the desk and the backyard.
