An Evening Concert at Cazadero Music Camp

Spent a pleasant July evening out in the woods for an outdoor performance. The concert was put on by the Cazadero Music Camp, with a stage set up in a clearing surrounded by tall trees. It was still light out when things got started.

The orchestra was made up of a large group of young musicians. There was a great energy as they played. At one point between songs, the conductor must have asked a question because a whole section of the brass players all raised their hands in unison.

As it got properly dark, the stage lights came on, illuminating the canopy stretched over the performers. Watching the conductor lead the full ensemble under the trees was a perfect way to spend a summer night. The sound carried well in the quiet evening air.
