Just Another Tuesday Photographing the Cats

Just a regular Tuesday in late March. The house was quiet, so I grabbed my camera and spent some time just following the cats around, trying to catch them in their element. They mostly ignored me, which is pretty standard.

The black and white one was feeling adventurous, climbing up on the exposed wooden beams and looking down at everything. The on-camera flash really makes its yellow eyes pop against its dark fur. Later, I found it just sitting calmly on the carpeted floor.

The other cat, with its grey patches and pink collar, was less active. It found a spot and settled in, letting me get some close-up portraits as it just sat patiently, looking left and right, unbothered. For a while, it took over one of the big leather armchairs, lounging under the warm indoor light. It was just one of those quiet, simple days at home, punctuated by the small movements and habits of our pets.
