A Herd of Ponies on the San Marcos Counter

A herd of ponies took over the kitchen counter today. Somebody lined them all up under the coffee sign — the whole crew, tangled manes and all, with the little purple dragon set out front like he was leading the parade. One of them is an old-style pony, the pale blue one with the pink hair, and it looks its age next to the newer ones.

They stayed there through the evening. Miles jumped up at some point and stood right next to the blue pony, and for a while he wouldn't look at any of them, just stared off toward the sink like the whole arrangement was beneath him.

They were still standing by the dishwasher when the kitchen lights went off for the night.
