Sunny Days and Quiet Evenings at Home

A few quiet days at home in mid-May. The weather was perfect — bright blue skies with a few scattered clouds, which made for some nice views from the hills nearby. Everything was still very green from the spring, and the jacaranda trees were in full bloom.

The evenings were simple. One night I grilled some dinner, just enjoying being outside as it got dark. We have a few odd things in the garden, like a Buddha statue and a chandelier hanging from a tree, which create some interesting light after sunset.
