A Heavy Mid-February Snowfall at Home
The snow started coming down hard on the night of February 11th. It was one of those heavy, wet storms, and our string lights outside caught the flakes as they fell, making it look like a solid curtain of white. It piled up quickly over a few hours.
Inside, it was a different scene entirely. The dog couldn't have cared less about the storm, curled up and sound asleep in his bed for the duration.
The next morning, everything was still and quiet. The storm had passed, leaving a thick blanket of fresh snow on the ground and weighing down the pine branches. The sun eventually broke through the clouds, making the whole landscape intensely bright. It was a calm, quiet winter morning after a heavy fall.
