A Hot August Weekend at a Bay Area Swim Meet

This was a classic hot summer weekend in early August 2014, spent on a crowded pool deck for a swim meet. The signage on the blue tents indicates this was at the Las Trampas pool, somewhere in the Bay Area. The sun was intense, lighting up the water to a bright, inviting turquoise under a clear sky.

The entire place was buzzing with activity. The deck was packed with young swimmers, coaches, and family members.
