Sailboat Dress and Emptied Book Drawer
Stayed in this afternoon. The baby wore the white sailboat dress, the one with the red bows and the rickrack around the hem, and held court on the floor in front of the blue chair. A lot of grinning, some serious staring, the usual routine.
Then the little one worked over to the bookshelf and pulled the drawer open, which is now apparently the main event. Everything came out — Silly Sally, Sheep in a Jeep, and Ferdinand got hauled around for a good while, still in its shrink wrap. The wooden pull toy sat ignored the whole time. Never got the books back in the drawer before the day moved on. They're probably still there.
