A Sunny Day Out on the Sailboat with Family
A day trip on the water from early July, 2007. We started out at a busy marina, getting the boat ready under a bright, clear sky. Our baby got settled in the cockpit while we were still docked, just taking everything in.
Once we were out of the harbor, it was just a beautiful day for sailing. The whole family was with us, and everyone took turns holding the baby, who seemed pretty content with the whole experience. The water was calm and the sun was warm.
We spent a few hours cruising with the shoreline visible in the distance. Everyone was in sunglasses, just relaxing and enjoying the simple pleasure of being out on the water together. It wasn't about going anywhere specific, just about the time spent on the boat.
Looking back at these photos, it was just a straightforward, perfect summer day. Just a relaxed family outing, making the most of the good weather.
