A Quiet Evening at Home with Sunsets and Pajamas

Just a quiet couple of days at home. The weather was clear, and on Sunday evening we had one of those classic vivid sunsets that lights up the whole sky. I caught it from the balcony, looking out over the hills as the sun dipped below the horizon. The bougainvillea are still holding on to their color, even this late in November.

Later that night, the main event was trying on some new holiday-themed pajamas. It's getting just cool enough in the evenings to warrant some flannel, and he was the perfect subject. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of being dressed up, but he was a good sport about it.

He settled onto his usual spot on the brown leather couch and let me take a dozen slightly different photos of him looking contemplative. It was just a regular, quiet night watching whatever was reflected in the windows and hanging out at home.
