Matching Pajamas and Santa at Home
Thanksgiving morning went to the matching pajamas: fluffy white hooded tops with ears for all four of us, red llama-print bottoms to match, and the dog in a red llama onesie of her own. We sat the kids down in front of the tree with their stuffed llamas and got everyone looking in roughly the same direction at roughly the same time, which counts as a win.
Then Santa came to the house. Full suit, beard, gloves, the works, set up by the tree with the fireplace behind him. The kids each took a turn on his lap with their llamas and neither one cried, which I was not counting on.
The dog got her own session at the end. She sat on his lap in the onesie with her tongue out, back paws sticking off his knee, completely unbothered by the beard.
