Matching Pajamas and a Visit From Santa at Home

We went all-in on the matching pajamas for our holiday photos in late November 2019. The whole family, including our two dogs, got outfitted in these fleece polar bear tops and red llama-print pants. Getting everyone organized for a photo in front of our decorated tree was exactly the kind of chaos you'd expect with two toddlers.

The real highlight was having Santa Claus stop by our house for the photos. The kids seemed a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing, clutching their stuffed llamas for security, but we managed to get a few good shots. It's funny to see their slightly dazed expressions as they sit on his lap.

After the kids were done, it was the dogs' turn. They were surprisingly calm about sitting with Santa, and I think they secretly enjoyed being the center of attention. It was a simple and slightly strange way to kick off the holiday season, all from the comfort of our living room.
