A Quiet Week at Home for Easter

A few days at home in mid-April. The week began with a birthday, and the pets took advantage of the general quiet. The dogs and cat found their usual spots on the bed for a nap.

The weather was classic for a Bay Area spring. Looking out the window, the sky was a bright, clear blue with just a few scattered clouds passing over the trees in the yard.

As the weekend approached, we got into the Easter holiday spirit. We spent an afternoon dyeing eggs in the kitchen, filling up an old carton with various shades of blue, pink, and green. On Easter morning, the decorations came out, including a basket of colorful plastic eggs and a purple bunny that sat next to breakfast.

The holiday also inspired a lot of artwork. Several colorful drawings were made, full of rainbows, Easter baskets, and green bunnies. One interpretation even featured a festive green alligator.
