An Easter Celebration at Home in Walnut Creek

Easter morning in Walnut Creek, April 2017. The girls got their bunny ears on and grabbed their baskets, ready for the day's hunt. We snapped a few photos of them outside before heading in for the main event.

Inside, the kitchen was the center of activity. A paper 'Happy Easter' banner was strung up over the counter, and everyone gathered around. The kids were excited to show off the colorful eggs they'd found. One of them proudly held up a bright green one, a huge smile on her face.

It was a classic holiday scene—family together, a little bit of chaos, and lots of sugar. These celebrations always feel like they happen in a blur of excitement and activity.

After the egg hunt and the initial rush, things quieted down. The day wound down with the kids retreating to their rooms, surrounded by their Easter loot, like a giant plush Peep. Soon enough, the phones came out, a sure sign the party was wrapping up. Just a quiet, happy holiday spent at home.
