Goats, Beaches, and Balloons in San Francisco
Over the bridge and into the city for a full day with the little one. The petting zoo was the first stop that mattered — a cup of feed, and the goats did the rest, pushing their noses right into it before the kid had figured out how to hold it steady. The white one with the long ears was the pushiest and got most of the cup.
Then the beach. Big pink-and-yellow hat, the yellow bucket, and about an hour of sitting in one spot moving sand from one place to another. The dinosaur molds barely got used.
The balloons came out back on the grass — a big orange one that the little one kept grabbing by the string, tug-of-war style, with another kid on the other side of it. Water was involved at some point too, mostly poured over the little one's own head with the blue watering can. We drove home tired.
