A Sunny April Day on Lake Coeur d'Alene

Spent a couple of days in mid-April out on the lake. The weather was perfect for it – bright blue sky, some scattered white clouds, and a lot of sun. We got the boat out onto the water and just started cruising.

The lake is massive, surrounded by pine-covered hills that roll off into the distance. From the middle of the water, you get a full panoramic view. The water was choppy in places but mostly calm, reflecting the sky. We passed by some shoreline communities, seeing houses and resorts from afar, but mostly it was just us, the boat, and the landscape.

There's something straightforward about being on a boat on a sunny day. The sound of the bow cutting through the water and the sun on your face. After a few hours exploring different parts of the lake, we headed back in and got tied up at the dock. It was a good, simple trip.
