A Thursday Afternoon Playing Dress-Up with the Dog

Not every day involves a big outing. This was just a quiet Thursday afternoon at home, April 26, 2018. We ended up having an impromptu dress-up session with the dog, who was a surprisingly good sport about the whole thing.

He sat patiently on the pink bed while we tried out some accessories. First was a sequined teal bow tie, which he wore with a certain amount of dignity. Then we decided he needed a little something extra and added a string of faux pearls. He seemed pretty content with his new formal look, posing for a few photos with his tongue out and ears perked.

It was just a simple, silly moment. The light in the room was warm, and it felt like a perfectly ordinary afternoon made a little more memorable by a dog in a bow tie.
