A Weekend Haul for the Patio and House

A quiet weekend at home in mid-April. We started Friday with a shopping trip and came back with the car full of new things for the patio. I couldn't resist the colorful painted pottery, and we also grabbed a few lanterns, baskets, and an outdoor rug.

Most of the weekend was spent outside enjoying the sun. As soon as we set out the new woven chair, the dog decided it was his. He spent most of the afternoon there, just watching everything from his new spot in the golden light. He seemed pretty content with the new arrangement.

I got everything set up over the next couple of days, arranging the pots and planting some new flowers. It's nice to see the patio finally coming together. It feels more lived-in now, and ready for the season.
