An Early June Day Out By the Reservoir

Took the UTV out for a drive in early June. We headed out to one of the nearby reservoirs just to see what the water levels were like and enjoy the clear weather. We found a good spot to park along the dirt road overlooking the water.

The sky was completely clear and the sun was bright, making the water a deep, calm blue. From the rocky shoreline, you could see across to the forested mountains on the other side. Everything was quiet and still.

We spent some time just walking along the water's edge. It was one of those simple, perfect Tahoe days before the summer season really kicks into gear. It's always nice to have these huge, open spaces practically to yourself.
