An Early Summer Day Spent by the Lake

We spent a beautiful early June day at a house on a lake. The weather was just about perfect, with clear blue skies and calm water. The whole property was incredibly green and lush, from the lawn sloping down to the shore to the trees on the far side of the lake.

The house has a large deck overlooking the water, with an orange umbrella providing some shade. The gardens were impressive, with all sorts of flowers blooming. There was even a small, constructed pond with a waterfall and water lilies, separate from the main lake.

A pontoon boat was tied up at the dock, covered up for the moment. A cluster of deep purple irises was growing right at the water's edge next to it. Further down, another dock had a wooden pergola built over it, set up with a couple of chairs — a perfect spot to sit right over the water. It was just a quiet, peaceful day spent enjoying the house and the view.
