An Off-Road Trip to Catch a Summer Sunset
On the evening of July 3rd, we decided to hitch the trailer to the Polaris and head out on some local trails for a few hours. The goal was simple: just get out for a bit and find a nice spot to watch the sun go down.
We followed some dirt tracks out to a familiar spot along a winding river. It was quiet and still as the sun began to dip towards the horizon, casting a warm, golden light over the grassy fields and sagebrush. We parked the rig and found a spot by the water to watch the show.
And it was quite a show. As soon as the sun disappeared, the clouds lit up in an intense display of orange and red. The colors just kept getting deeper, reflecting perfectly on the surface of the rocky river. It was one of those vibrant, lingering sunsets that you don't get too often, with the sky shifting through shades of orange to pink before finally fading. A pretty great way to spend a summer evening near home.
