Looking Back at Our Outdoor Wedding in August 2001

These photos are from our wedding day, back on August 2, 2001. We decided on an outdoor ceremony, right by the water. Looking at these images, I can still feel the warmth of that day. The light was soft and a little hazy, which made for some really nice moments.

My dress was a simple strapless gown, and I remember being so happy with my bouquet. It was full of white, green, and pink flowers. We spent most of the day in the garden, taking photos. Many of the pictures are just of the two of us, looking at each other or sharing a kiss. They feel very quiet and personal.

There's one shot of me coming down the stairs of what looks like a small house, with potted plants on the railing. And another great one of me hugging my dad. It was a beautiful, intimate day focused on family and the beginning of our life together. It feels like a lifetime ago, but these photos bring it right back.
